Bio:
I am a self-taught Fused Glass Artist who loves to create. I have always been drawn to crafting and I am someone who loves to push my limits and try new things. My love for glass has allowed me to jump into a medium that has not only given me a creative outlet, but it’s something that brings happiness and joy when I’m in my studio. Using various Bullseye Glass products to achieve the designs rolling around in my head before placing them into the kiln to fire, this is where the real magic happens during the firing process. Opening the kiln to see my work of art fired long enough to soften those sharp edges giving the perfect amount of touchable texture is my style.
A love shared down from my Mom, I also love flowers. As an artist, I am drawn to floral designs including succulents and cactus. I am also someone who loves the ocean. I have dipped into creating seascapes and enjoy creating the texture in those scenes as well keeping with my style in my artwork. For me, it brings back some happy moments from some great memories. I love the in-depth conversations about my work at various shows as the customer creates a connection to the pieces as they run their fingers across the details. Hearing a customer talk about who they would purchase a piece for or who it reminds them of while holding it in their hands brings the reason I am a Fused Glass Artist to full circle. I create to bring joy and happiness to others and seeing their eyes light up and their smiles when they find a perfect piece of art is the best part of what I do!
